Mahama outlines five main policy proposals aimed at “resetting” the economy to promote growth.

Former President John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has outlined four key policy proposals that he plans to implement to reset Ghana’s economy.

The key proposals include the Farmer Services Centres, the National Apprenticeship Programme, the One Million Coders Programme, FEED Ghana, and the Women’s Development Bank.

He emphasized that all these initiatives would be realized within a 24-hour economy. Mr. Mahama shared this in a Facebook post on Monday, November 4, as he kicked off his campaign in the Oti Region, starting from Kwamekrom in the Biakoye Constituency.

“The message from the youth and the people is clear: they are calling for decent job opportunities from the NDC, support for their farming and fishing activities, and they are eager to vote for Change on December 7,” he stated

He expressed confidence that the Farmer Services Centres, National Apprenticeship Programme, One Million Coders Programme, FEED Ghana, and Women’s Development Bank, operating within a 24-hour economy, will serve as the driving forces to reset and stimulate the growth of our economy.
