Tiwa Savage the Nigerian R&B and Pop artiste has divulged that she brushed her teeth six times before the kissing scene in her first movie, “Water & Garri,” took place.
Tiwa Savage disclosed that she did this as a personal hygienic precaution to appear more professional and make a good impression on the set.
In a recent interview with Black Entertainment Television(BET), she detailed this information.
She further disclosed that her kissing scene was scheduled for her first day on set, and she was responsible for ensuring her co-star felt at ease during their brief moment of intimacy.
She said, “The first day on set, I had my kissing scene. I am glad it was my first day because I just entered it. I remember in my dressing room, I brushed my teeth like five or six times because I felt like I needed to represent”.
The Pop Artiste and cum actress further disclosed that it was prudent to be considerate of her co-cast as it had a probability of affecting the entire feel of the set.
Tiwa Savage, who acted as the lead character Aisha in the movie scenes, said to Andrew Bunting her co-star, who played as Kay in the film, also took same precautions, brushing his mouth multiple times.
She saud she appreciated the supportive and kind nature of the entire cast and team, which made her first day on set, marked by the kissing scene, a comfortable grand experience.
Meanwhile, ‘Water and Garri’ has become one of the biggest weekend opener ever for Prime Video Nigeria, achieving the highest number of streams amongst all titles on the platform.
