Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has criticized Sarkodie, asserting that his recent investment in music videos is an absolute waste.

In a discussion on October 31, the hitmaker suggested that the money Sarkodie has spent on music videos in his quest for international recognition could have been more wisely invested in real estate

According to Shatta Wale sarkodie has put in so much effort that he should be among the top artists on the international stage, like Burna Boy and Wizkid. However, the investments he has made seem wasted. He could have redirected that money to build malls or filling stations.

Shatta Wale further remarked that Sarkodie’s struggle to achieve international recognition, unlike Wizkid and Burna Boy, is due to being exploited by industry players in Ghana.

“Despite all his efforts, he still cannot compare himself to artists like them because he is humble and has allowed himself to be utilized by industry players”
