Rema, afrobeat’s star has finally addressed the widespread rumors that he joined the Illuminati. In a post published on his official Instagram story on Wednesday, Rema refuted any affiliation with any secret societies.
Rema encouraged his Ravers, or day one admirers, to educate his new fans about his background and origins in response to conspiracy theories concerning the Illuminati.
The rapper declared that “Jesus is the king” and referred to the Illuminati as “diabolical shit,” denying claims that his success is the result of extraterrestrial intervention.
“First day,” he stated. Ravers, kindly help me let the newcomers know that I have been on this bat shit for a very long time. If you could easily Google my origins, the primary colors of my ancestry, the nightly birds that soar above Benin, and other details, you would have a lot more clarity.
“I will unapologetically evolve in my execution as I evolve.” Learn about your artist, please. That is the reason I interview people. And it’s all gibberish, this Illuminati crap. I put too much effort into creating art for you to elevate such vile nonsense. It is now dead. “It is the King, Jesus.”
Rema provided this explanation following the release of a teaser for his upcoming “Ravage” EP, which is scheduled to be released on Friday, October 27.
