Prophet Opambour Warns Vim Lady: ‘I Will Curse You if You Insult Me Again'”

Ebenezer Opambour Yiadom, the controversial Ghanaian prophet known as Prophet 1, has strongly warned broadcast journalist Afia Pokuaa (Vim Lady) after she referred to him as a “shallow-minded” individual.

In a viral video, Prophet Ebenezer Opambour Yiadom threatened to curse broadcast journalist Afia Pokuaa (Vim Lady) if she insults him again. He stated, “If I have not said anything negative about her and she chooses to insult me, I’ll curse her and do whatever I please with her, including her unborn children.” He further warned, “I give her until Sunday; if she makes another comment about me, I will curse her.”

The prophet also seized the opportunity to criticize the NPP’s “One District, One Factory” policy from the 2016 and 2020 elections, questioning, “Where are all the factories? Where are all the dams?” He added, “We don’t want another promise from Bawumia that the Ghana card can be used to purchase a car when he’s elected.” He concluded by saying, “That’s why I asked Mahama  these questions, so I don’t understand why the girl is insulting me.”

Background

On November 11, 2024, the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) held a fellowship service with the clergy in Kumasi. During the meeting, Prophet Ebenezer Opambour Yiadom raised concerns over Dr. Bawumia’s proposed policy, which would use the Ghana Card as a basis for a credit scoring system, enabling citizens to purchase cars. Opambour mocked the initiative, questioning its feasibility and ridiculing the idea that the Ghana Card could serve as a means to buy cars.

Afia Pokuaa (Vim Lady), however, did not take kindly to the prophet’s remarks. She labeled Opambour as “shallow-minded” and suggested he misunderstood the policy. “Anybody who questions the Ghana Card is shallow-minded. This shouldn’t even be a topic for discussion because this same identification card is what has made Europe what it is today,” she stated.
