Prophet Nigel Gaisie Vows to Use His Influence to Unseat NPP in 2024 Elections

Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the leader of the Prophetic Hill Church, has made it clear that he is using his influence to ensure the New Patriotic Party (NPP) does not retain power in the upcoming 2024 elections. In a candid interview on Hitz FM, Gaisie expressed his deep dissatisfaction with the way the NPP has governed the country, particularly accusing the party of mistreating the Ghanaian people and negatively impacting both the church and the nation as a whole.

He didn’t hold back in his criticism, saying, “I’m praying against the NPP government to lose. Yes, I am praying. I have their flag. Every day I am dealing with it. They have hurt the church, they have hurt the nation, and they have to go. Ghanaians must punish them.” His words reflected his strong belief that the current administration should be voted out in the upcoming December 7 election. Gaisie’s comments were filled with conviction, as he urged the people of Ghana to make a decisive move in the election to remove the party from power.

The prophet also voiced his explicit support for former President John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), making it clear that he is hopeful Mahama will win the election and return to office. Gaisie’s endorsement of Mahama signals his belief that the NDC is better positioned to lead the country and bring about positive change, in contrast to what he perceives as the failed leadership of the NPP.

Despite his firm stance on the election and his vocal support for Mahama, Gaisie did take a moment to acknowledge that, as a human being, he does not always get his prophecies right. This admission highlights his humility and recognition of his fallibility, despite the confidence he holds in his prophetic role. Nonetheless, Gaisie’s declaration of intent to use his influence to sway the election underscores his significant role in Ghanaian politics, particularly among his followers and the religious community.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie acknowledged that, as a human, he sometimes gets his prophecies wrong. He explained, “Every prophet that gets it 100% right is fake,” adding that sometimes God allows mistakes to remind prophets of their humanity. “Sometimes God will twist your mouth… so you know you are human,” he said. Gaisie emphasized the importance of spiritual focus and emotional control in prophecy, noting that disturbances can lead to misinterpretation. “Sometimes we get it wrong,” he admitted, highlighting the need for clarity and precision in his prophetic role.
