The leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, according to Novihoho Afaglo, Chief Executive Officer of Marrer Ghana Limited, Susatgad Boat Building and Fishing Industry, has caused significant harm to Ghana’s future.
On December 7, 2024, he said that the administration must be overthrown.
According to Afaglo, the NPP government has never borrowed that much money without any tangible evidence other than the money it has distributed and kept in its various members’ various homes.
He said in an X post that John Mahama, if elected to rule the nation in 2025, will straighten out the problem and ensure that all corrupt NPP administration officials were brought to justice.
In support of the Electoral Commission’s (EC) limited voter registration drive, Afaglo claimed that the government had teamed up with the head of the election management body, Jean Mensa, to limit citizens’ rights, and that minors had been brought in to register under the banner of the NPP, which he called “breaking the eight.”
However, he pressed all Ghanaians who were 18 years old or older to register by going to their district offices.
The registration is a component of the EC’s planning for the general elections in 2024.
On Monday, October 2, 2023, the registration process is anticipated to come to a close.
