The MP for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has emphasized the noteworthy accomplishments of the NDC in the Central Region, pointing to upgrades in hospital projects, educational facilities, and road infrastructure.
Ablakwa urged supporters to vote for both NDC parliamentary candidates and John Dramani Mahama in the forthcoming 2024 elections while the NDC was on its second phase of tour through the Central Region.
He emphasized that endorsing these candidates would help prevent a deadlock in parliament and allow Mahama to carry out his initiatives efficiently.
“We know that, with God’s grace, former President John Dramani Mahama will prevail in the December elections and carry on the good work he began on January 6, 2017, and that he will require a majority in parliament to accomplish that good work.”
“We wish to avoid a hung parliament. We’re looking for a comfortable and manageable majority in parliament,” he said.
