Nominations into the 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) have been opened by the organizers.

This public notice, which marks the beginning of the award cycle, was issued in a press release available to Graphic Showbiz on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

The release indicated that individuals and institutions deserving of awards in Ghana’s music industry are encouraged to submit nominations for consideration. The call is open to all stakeholders like artists, managers, record labels, producers, instrumentalists, and composers.

A statement signed by Robert Klah, Charterhouse Head of Public Events & Communications, says: “On behalf of the Board, our significant sponsors, and our esteemed partners, we wish all music folks our best and formally announce that nominations for the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards are now open.

We are inviting entries for all commercially released material in 2024 between January 1st and December 31st. All submissions by artists, artist managers, record labels, producers, musicians, songwriters, and music industry individuals must be submitted via the online portal at www.entry.ghanamusicawards.com by or on Sunday, February 16th, 2025. Note that the categories of the TGMAs have been modified. The modifications include definitions and additions.”
