Nigerian politician Prince Ned Nwoko, who is married to well-known actress Regina Daniels, has denied rumors that he intends to take Nigerian actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife.

Prince Ned Nwoko further denied the claims that he had pregnant the actress in a press release signed by the Director of Communications on February 17, 2025.

He emphasized that the rumors going around on social media are untrue and the product of slanderous conjecture meant to harm his name.

The recent unfounded rumors that Nollywood actress Chika Ike is pregnant and that Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko intends to make her his seventh wife have caught our attention. We firmly assert that these allegations are wholly unfounded and the result of nefarious conjecture,” the statement says.

Rumors about Prince Ned Nwoko’s position on musician 2Face’s choice to end his marriage to Annie Macaulay-Idibia were also addressed.

”Similarly, it is wholly false to say that he made remarks about polygamy and 2Face. Since he is well-known and his wife is an actress, it is common for bloggers who are looking for attention to make up things like this”.

“We remind media professionals of the repercussions of disseminating false material, and this office is still open to journalists for information verification. It is recommended that the public ignore these rumors and only trust official remarks from his administration,” he continued.

After Nigerian actress Chika Ike announced on social media that she was 39 years old and expecting her first child, rumors started to circulate.

With the description, “Life Lately,” she shared a collection of stunning pregnant pictures on Instagram.

Social media people conjectured that Ned Nwoko is the child’s father after she made her revelation. One of the rumors was that Ned Nwoko was planning to take the actress as her seventh wife.
When actress Regina Daniels, the wife of Ned Nwoko, deleted her Instagram account amid the rumors, they became more intense.
