The vice presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has urged Ghanaians to vote for change, stressing that their vote is essential to enacting the necessary changes for the nation.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang characterized the election process as peaceful after casting her ballot at the M.A. JHS A polling station in Komenda and expressed hope that it would go well all day.

The former Education Minister used the occasion to urge people to exercise their democratic right, emphasizing how crucial voting is to determining Ghana’s future.

In the NDC’s attempt to retake power, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang, who is running alongside former President John Dramani Mahama, urged voters to vote with the country’s future in mind.

She said she was confident that the election results would show that Ghanaians wanted a change in government and leadership.

Many people who want to see Ghana’s political landscape change are sympathetic to Prof. Opoku-Agyemang’s demand for a peaceful and equitable voting process as the election goes on.
