Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu signs five-year contract with AS Monaco.
Mohammed Salisu has formally completed his switch to AS Monaco from Southampton, denoting a critical move in his football profession.
The 24-year-old peened down an agrrement with the French first class club, leaving Southampton following their relegation from the English Premiere League.
“AS Monaco are glad to report the appearance of focal safeguard in the person of Mohammed Salisu from Southampton Football Club. The 24-year-old Ghanaian internatioal has agreed to a 5years-season deal and is currently a property of AS Monaco until June 2028,” Monaco declared on Tuesday.
Salisu’s European journey took off at Spain’s Real Valladolid prior to making a high-profile move to Southampton. During his experience with the English club, he exhibited his defensive capabilities in the Premier League , earning praises for his exhibitions. In any case, the club’s relegation required a change, prompting his flight.
