In a dramatic start to the 2025/26 season at Anfield, Mohamed Salah once again proved decisive. Bournemouth overturned a 2–0 deficit to draw level with Liverpool. Ghnaian Born Striker Antoine Semenyo hit a brace to draw his team level with Liverpool. However, the Premier League last season’s champions once showed their class is in the 88th minute through Fedrico Chiesa with Salah scoring the stoppage-time winner to endthe game at 4-2.

2017/18 vs Watford (3–3 draw): On his Liverpool debut Salah volleyed home to give the Reds an early lead (Liverpool eventually drew 3–3)

2018/19 vs West Ham (4–0 win): Salah opened the scoring in the 19th minute at Anfield, capitalizing on an Andy Robertson cross to make it 1–0. Liverpool went on to win 4–0.

2019/20 vs Norwich (4–1 win): Twelve minutes in, Salah slotted home a simple finish (a Roberto Firmino pass gave him the chance) to double Liverpool’s lead. The Reds won 4–1.

2020/21 vs Leeds (4–3 win): Salah scored a hat-trick in a topsy-turvy opener. He converted two first-half chances (including a free-kick penalty) and netted a stoppage-time spot-kick to seal a 4–3 win. 2021/22 vs Norwich (3–0 win): After assisting twice, Salah himself scored in the 74th minute (a left-foot finish) to make it 3–0 at Carrow Road.

2024/25 vs Ipswich Town (2–0 win): Salah continued where he left off, again scoring for 2–0 at Anfield (his 65th-minute blast made him the leading opener scorer with nine).

2025/26 vs Bournemouth (4–2 win): Salah’s late winner in the 94th minute capped a 4–2 comeback (we have the official stats: “Mohamed Salah – 90+4.This record adds another chapter to Salah’s already-legendary Liverpool career. He earned back-to-back Golden Boots for his contributions to back-to-back championship victories; in the previous season alone, he scored 28 goals and provided 18 assists as Liverpool easily won the championship..
