Mohammed Kudus is the Favourite to Win The African Best Player Award

Former Malian and Sevilla Talisman  Frederic Kanoute is of the view that the Ghana Blackstar and West Ham playmaker,  Mohammed Kudus has the qualities necessary to win the African Player of the Year award.Kudus wins West Ham United's award for March - Africa Top Sports

Kudus has had an outstanding season in both the English Premier League and European competitions with West Ham United since his switch from Ajax in the summer transfer window.

Apart from his remarkable club performances, the 23-year-old has been a prominent figure in Ghana’s national team. All through  the Africa Cup of Nations, Kudus stood out as Ghana’s top performer, earning two Man of the Match awards to his credit for his contributions as an attacking midfielder for the Black Stars.

Frederic Kanoute,  the 2007 Africa Talent of the Year award winner, is firm in his belief that Kudus has a bright future ahead of him and calls him an exciting talent.

“He is incredibly gifted. He is strong, has all the tools needed to be a forward, and can play a variety of positions. He is still relatively young, and in my opinion, one of the most intriguing African players of the present day. Thus, in my opinion, he has a chance with me,” Kanoute opined on the Irons Podcast.

Mohammed Kudus has already become a top fan favorite in West London for his contribution, already succeding as the Ghanaian player with the most goals for the club. furthermore, his fantastic solo goal in the Europa League Competition clinched him the  West Ham Goal of the Month award for March.

Before Kanoute joined Tottenham in 2003, the Malian Ex-football player had a spell of   three seasons with West Ham, where he scored 27 goals in 76 games in all competitions
