As the Dust settles in a fiercely contestested Manchester Rivalry, One thing that is very certain  is that Manchester City are in no mood to relinguish their premier league dominance as they see off Manchester United to lift FA Community shield trophy at Wembey Sports Stadium.

Manchester City outclassed  Manchester United with  a convincing performance to  lift their  first silverware of the season. The match, which pitted the reigning Premier League champions against the FA Cup winners , lived up to its billing as a high-stakes showdown that set the tone for the upcoming  season.

It  was Manchester United who  stamped their authority on the game. They set off with their trademark  quick transitioning p and fluid movement which  left Manchester City chasing shadows, the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro orchestrated play from the midfield. The breakthrough came midway through the first half when Bruno Fernandes saw his beautifuly curled shot finding the right top corner of Ederson goal only for it to be ruled as ofside. His epic display continues  his remarkable form from the past season.

Following several misses from Marcus Rashford in the first half, Alesandro Garnarcho clinged on to a descent throughball from Bruno Fernades in City’s half burned in swiftly pass the City Defender’s to launch a stunning stike which was planted n the bottom right corner of Ederson’s goal post.

As the clock ticked down, City looked increasingly fuastrated, as  their controlling possession bear no fruit.

However,their  decisive moment came in the 89th minute as  Bernado Silva headed a home  from a counter-break Cross from  Bobb which  took  the game penalty shoot out.

Andre Onana pulled a top drawer save from Bernado Silva’s first kick for Manchester City as Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring for Manchester United.

However Jonny Evans penalty  Miss handed the trophy to Pep Guardiola and his boys initiating an earlier celebration before the season begins.
