President John Dramani Mahama has named Sammy Gyamfi as the interim Managing Director of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC).

Gyamfi’s appointment includes the important responsibility of overseeing the creation of GOLDBOD, a new organization focused on gold trading.

GOLDBOD is anticipated to play a key role in expanding Ghana’s gold trading capacity, providing a platform for more organized and efficient trade. This development aims to enhance the country’s competitiveness in the global mineral market, enabling Ghana to solidify its standing as a leading player in the gold industry. Sammy Gyamfi, who currently serves as the National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is widely recognized for his exceptional communication abilities.
