Hughton’s dismissal and the dissolution of the Black Stars’ technical staff followed the team’s disappointing exit.
Laryea, who captained the Black Stars for more than 40 games, stated he is prepared to take over as the next national team coach.
“If you are bringing an overseas coach, find one with the experience to assist him [the local coach].” Alternatively, find someone we know is skilled and local.
Naturally, I’ll agree and take it easy. I am aware of where I am right now,” the 43-year-old stated to Graphic Sport.
