Liverpool’s loss to Crystal Palace in the prenier league means that the Reds has  suffered another home defeat in the space of four days in their persuit to maintain their top spot position having thrashed Lutow Town a day earlier.

With six games to spare, Liverpool are now third on the league log tied on points with Arsenal who sit second and two adrift off the defending champions.

In a post-match interview about the team’s performance, The Reds boss  admitted the lack of urgency from his side in the opening 45 minutes of the game but believes Liverpool’s response in the second half shows they can win their remaining fixtures and all is  hope  is not lost until the season is completed.

“The answer is pretty easy. If we play like that in the first half, why would we win the league? Play like second half and we can win games. Win games, be around until the end and we’ll see where it takes us”, he said.

With  hopes of coming  back to winning ways, Klopp’s side set for  a return tie in Atalanta in their UEFA Europa League quarter-final on Thursday night, before returning to league action on Sunday afternoon at Craven Cottage against Fulham.

As Klopp’s tenure at Liverpool nears its end, he is still of high hopes  about the possibility of securing more titles before departing the Merseyside club after nine years of spell.
