Award-winning Ghanaian broadcaster Berla Mundi has received praise from her fans on X, formerly Twitter, following her announcement that she will be hosting the African Nominee Luncheon for the 66th Grammy Awards.
On February 3, 2024, Berla will host the event in Los Angeles, America, for the second time.
When it was held the year before, Berla Mundi was the host and she spoke with guests at the brunch, including Nomcebo Zikode of South Africa and Rocky Dawuni of Ghana.
Ghanaians, whose enthusiasm and joy for the TV personality could not be contained, were beaming with glee at the news.
Many people have wished the presenter well and sent them congratulations.
Amapiano star Musa Keys of South Africa, British-Ghanaian record producer Juls baby, and Nigerian Davido are among the celebrities confirmed by the event’s organisers, GUBA, under the direction of Lady Dentaa Amoateng MBE, will attend the event prior to the Grammy Awards.
Berla Mundi expressed her enthusiasm on Instagram about hosting the esteemed event for a second time.
“Looking forward to this,” said the TV3 on-air personality in response to GUBA’s Instagram post announcing her as the host.
The upcoming event will feature a number of other Ghanaians as guests, such as music producer Juls, rapper Gambo, and EMY founder Kojo Soboh.
