On 9th of May 2024, cardi B’s long time makeup artist Erika LA’ Pearl shared an alternate version of the rapper Met Gala look that was ultimately scrapped. The sleeping beauty inspired concept included 18 prosthetic pieces and a stunning silver wig that made the artist look older than her age.
” this was first idea we tested for met Gala look with facial and body prosthetic Erika LA’ Pearl said tagging prosthetics artists Alexis stone and hairstylist Tokyo Stylez who gave the hair ( wig).
On this own Instagram page he stated that ” A week ago he was asked to make the impossible possible. A full old age transformation on the rapper ahead of the Gala. I called on@ francescof1985,@rebzfx,@overture fx and we made it reality. We had her scanned in last weekend, it was then cleaned and printed,@ francescof1985 then worked day and night to produce an 18 prosthetic pieces transformation from the face,neck ,arms to hands before I flew directly to New York city on Saturday and we tested the look.
