Can you picture leaving Sarkodie’s Tema performance with a car present from the rapper? That is precisely what occurred to a Drake supporter in Toronto.
The 36-year-old rapper gave away a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon to an unknowing concertgoer on Saturday while performing at Scotiabank Arena in his hometown of Toronto as part of the “It’s All a Blur Tour.”
Drake, who came prepared to perform, chose to use a raffle drum that included the individual ticket numbers of people in attendance rather than personally choosing one fan in the audience to take home a luxurious gift.
Drake announced, “So, this is what I’m going to do: I’m going to pick the winning ticket out of this drum right here.”
So he responded, “They got ’em? They on the top? Bring your ass down right now. Someone will be sent up there to examine that ticket.
It’s not clear which Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon model the “Rich Flex” artist received, but the entry-level vehicle has a starting price of $139,900 on the manufacturer’s website.
