While addressing a gathering of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters in the Northern Region on Thursday, November 21, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia reaffirmed his commitment to leading Ghana toward progress and transformation. Speaking with confidence, the NPP Presidential Candidate emphasized that the upcoming election is critical for determining the country’s future direction. He expressed his belief that the choice of leadership in this election must focus on who is best equipped to drive the transformational changes that Ghana urgently needs. Dr. Bawumia assured the crowd that, with his vision, experience, and proven track record, he is the most capable candidate to deliver on this mandate. He confidently declared himself as the better choice to guide Ghana into a prosperous and promising future.
Dr. Bawumia further criticized his main opponent, Former President John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), describing him as a representative of the past. He pointed out that Mahama’s leadership had failed to deliver the progress and transformation that Ghana needed, positioning him as an outdated option for the country’s future.
Dr. Bawumia emphasized that the upcoming election is a choice between continuing with the past or embracing the future, and he believes that his vision and leadership represent the path to a better, more prosperous Ghana.
Dr. Bawumia stated, “We are even buying laptops for teachers, from Kindergarten to SHS,” highlighting the government’s efforts to support education and improve teaching resources.
