Afua Asantewaa Announces Date for Second Sing-A-Thon Attempt

 

Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, the Ghanaian entrepreneur and former Guinness World Records contender, has officially announced her plan to make a second attempt at setting the record for the longest singing marathon by an individual.

 

In an Instagram post shared on November 15, 2024, Afua Asantewaa disclosed that she will be making her second attempt at the longest singing marathon on December 21, 2024. She announced the date as part of her continued effort to break the world record.

 

However, Afua Asantewaa did not specify the exact duration of her upcoming record attempt, although she expressed her enthusiasm and anticipation for the challenge ahead. In her Instagram post, she captioned the official flyer with a message of excitement: “Here we go!!! I’m excited and ready.”

 

Her followers have shown their support in the comments, praising her perseverance and determination. Many have congratulated her for her unwavering commitment to achieving her dream, with several expressing admiration for her efforts to take on such a monumental challenge once again.

 

Afua Asantewaa first attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the ‘longest singing marathon by an individual’ in December 2023. The event took place over six days, from December 24 to 29, 2023, and garnered widespread support from Ghanaians both at home and in the diaspora.
