1.Global Citizen Festival 2022 in Accra
On 24 September 2022, Ghana witnessed the first ever Global Citizen Festivals in Ghana.
Berla Mundi was chosen as the host the 10th edition of the Global Citizen Festival in Accra, Which commemorated Ghana’s 65th anniversary of independence.
The festival, held at the Black Star Square, attracted over 20,000 fans and featured electrifying performances from American R&B icons Usher and SZA.
2. Grammy African Nominee Brunch 2023 in Los Angeles
In order to host the first-ever African Nominee Brunch, which was organised by GUBA business in partnership with the Recording Academy, Berla Mundi travelled to Los Angeles. During the pre-Grammy event, Berla Mundi interacted with well-known African musicians including Rocky Dawuni and Nomcebo Zikode.
3. Gitex Africa Event in Morocco, 2023
The largest Tech Show in Africa’s history, Gitex Africa, made its debut in Morocco from May 31 to June 2, 2023, with Berla Mundi as a special guest. As Berla assumed the role of moderator on the #ELEVATESTAGE, she became fully engaged in the realm of innovative enterprises and inspiring concepts.
4. Paris 2023: Global Citizen #PowerOurPlanet
On June 22, 2023, Berla Mundi held the Global Citizen Festival in Paris at the base of the famous Eiffel Tower, with the theme #PowerOurPlanet.
Berla added a gifted Nigerian musician named Ayra Starr to the festival’s star-studded list alongside co-host Liz Wathuti.
5.Time Magazine at 100, 2023 – African Summit
Berla received an invitation to the TIME 100 African Summit, which was arranged by Bodernation and TIME 100 to commemorate the centenary of TIME Magazine, even though it was not hosted by Berla Mundi.
Berla Mundi expressed her excitement in talks on women’s empowerment and modern Africa, as well as the amazing opportunities that are accessible on the continent.
