In light of West Ham United’s increased efforts to sign the outstanding Ajax midfielder, Mohammed Kudus has expressed his love for the London-based team.
The 23-year-old, who is rumoured to be close to joining the Premier League team, gave supporters a memorable performance in the Europa League by inspiring Ajax to a 4-1 victory at Ludogorets by scoring a triple trick.
Speaking after the game, Kudus praised the team and confirmed the numerous rumours that linked him to the Hammers.
When asked what he thought of the champions of the Europa Conference League, he responded, “Good club, yeah.
“Yes, I believe that was my last game for Ajax. But let’s wait and see what occurs the next day.
“Discussions are ongoing. We need to wait and see if there is a deal in the next days,” he remarked.
While his performance enabled Ajax to defeat Ludogorets with ease, it also adds to Mohammed Kudus’ excellent stats from last season, when he shone for both club and country.
At the 2022 World Cup, he excelled for Ghana and scored 17 goals while playing for Ajax. He has already contributed an assist and four goals for Ajax so far this season.
