Shatta Wale Amazed by Massive Turnout at ShattaFest 2025, Celebrates 40th Birthday in Grand Style
Ghanaian dancehall icon Shatta Wale says he is still amazed by the massive crowd that attended his ShattaFest 2025 concert held at the Independence Square on Saturday, October 18, in celebration of his 40th birthday.
“I’m still shocked at the crowd. Maybe you think I have the following, but God is bringing us together to motivate the youth,” Shatta Wale told reporters after the event.
The Shatta Movement (SM) boss has long been known for his unmatched ability to attract huge audiences, and the latest concert only reinforced his dominance as the “King of the Streets.” Fans from all corners of Ghana and beyond flooded the capital to honor one of Africa’s biggest dancehall exports.
Shaibu Haruna, CEO of Mobile Money Ghana, lauded Shatta Wale for his impact, saying, “I had no clue the kind of following you have. I obviously knew you had a powerful following, but this weekend was extra special.” He commended the dancehall artiste for inspiring the youth and pushing boundaries in the Ghanaian music industry, emphasizing that MTN is proud to be associated with his brand.
The success of ShattaFest 2025 once again highlights Shatta Wale’s global influence, his connection with fans, and his dedication to empowering Ghanaian youth through music and positive energy
