Chief Osei Bonsu, also known as Tulenkey, has stated that his music carries a message, referring notably to his song ‘Child Abuse,’ which features Medikal.
Speaking to Felicia Osei on Onua FM’s Adwuma Adwuma, the Ghanaian rapper and composer discussed how the song in question is a sensitive subject that few people discuss, and how he felt it was appropriate to incorporate it into his music to make it entertaining while also addressing it.
“It’s a problem that hasn’t been solved.” People don’t really discuss it. “It’s very sensitive, so you have to know how to approach it,” he explained.
“Normally, people write songs about cleaning and the like, but it has this boring feel to it, so I wanted to spice it up,” he concluded I’m discussing a serious topic, but I’m making it amusing.”
When questioned if he has been a victim of what he says in the song, he says, “I haven’t experienced it before, but I’m more like a mouthpiece of the people, so I’m saying it on their behalf.”
“When it comes to my music,” the rap sensation says, “I always have an angle.”
Tulenkey uses the platform to thank and show his love for his fans, as well as to request that they listen to his new smash ‘Kom,’ which is currently accessible everywhere.
“Many thanks to everyone who has supported the movement and the music. Continue to share my work. ‘Kom’ is available on all music platforms. Share the link, listen to the song, and keep jamming. “I adore you all,” he said.
