According to National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama, the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration has prioritized rhetoric over action for the past eight years.
He said that they had forgotten their pledges to farmers.
On Facebook, he remarked, “The NDC, however, will deliver.”
Mr. Mahama further charged that the government was illegally overseeing the economy’s collapse.
“Nana Akufo-Addo and Mahamadu Bawumia’s criminal supervision of the devastation of our economy is the reason for the miseries we are experiencing, the growing costs of food, and the lack of progress in our communities, among other things.
“I heard traditional leaders express their frustration with the lack of progress over the last eight years during an interaction with members of the Western Regional House of Chiefs in Sekondi,” he said.
“The condition of the roads in the twin city and other constituencies in the region, not to mention the stagnation of development, appalls me,” he continued.
“I have been traveling to the Western Region, but this is not it. Our plan to “reset Ghana” in order to “build the Ghana we want” will improve the infrastructure in the area.
