The former President described Election 2024 as a choice between “moving forward and going backwards.” He asked voters to choose the NDC to come back and work “in the interest of the people.”
“This government has done so much damage to this country; not only to our economy but also to all the state-owned businesses. It will-as such-take a lot of hard work to fix them and return them to how they were before…But the NDC has the people who can do it, and we are going to do just that to make this nation a better place for everybody.”
“…We are the builders of the nation and we will keep doing the work that we were doing,” he added.
Mr. Mahama spoke of the plans and policies for the “reset” of the economy, such as the NDC’s idea of a Women’s Bank and the National Apprenticeship Programme.
At Bonikope, Sege, he commended the people for the continued support and urged voters not to be deceived by money and “sweet promises” from the ruling party ahead of the general election.
