Sarkodie, a legendary rapper from Ghana, has recently called for kindness and empathy for up-and-coming young talent in the entertainment sector.
The “Landlord of Ghana Music,” Sarkodie, provided his insightful viewpoint on the difficulties facing today’s young artists in a media-driven society.
Sarkodie expressed sympathy for the constraints new artists have while navigating social and conventional media platforms on his Twitter account.
He reflected on his experiences, noting that in his day, artists had the freedom to make mistakes privately and learn from them without being constantly judged by the public.
He emphasised, however, how things are different for today’s up-and-coming musicians, who are thrown into the spotlight almost away, leaving little room for privacy and learning from mistakes.
Sarkodie made a touching statement while on tour in the United States.
