Ghanaian kumawood actor Kwodwo Nkansah Lilwin has been granted bill of Gh50,000 by the Asokore Mampong district court.
Lilwin was arrested on Monday, June 3 by the Manhyia Divisional police command over his involvement in an accident that took the life of a three year old boy Richard Nana Yaw Ampomah on 25 May, 2024 at Amakom- Kumasi.
He is to appear in court on 27 June,2024.Lilwin was arrested Immediately when he was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital on Monday morning 3 June. Lil Win has been receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye hospital until he was arrest on Monday morning. His manager and personal guard are still at the hospital receiving treatment(Hospitalised).
The three-year-old boy has been buried by the family while his father, Jacob Ampomah who had a serious leg injury is still visiting the hospital for better treatment.
In statement, Lilwin released last week controverted allegations by the family of Richard of neglecting the accident victims and attending to his movie premiere “A Country call Ghana”that same day after the incident occurred. Despite the injury, Lilwin appeared at the premiere of his movie on that very night the accident occurred.
The popular Ghanaian actor Nkansah Lilwin later apologised to the berevead family of this dibolic comment and postponed his movie premier in Sunyani to mourn with the family.
In awaiting of the final judgment, Lilwin is still receiving treatment and has been advised by Doctor to sit in a wheel chair for fast recovery.
