Lil-Win Gets Arrested Over An Accident That Claimed A 3-Year Old-boy

Following an accident that claimed the Life in three-year-old boy, Ghanaian popular actor, Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known in showbiz as Lil Win has been arrested by the Manhyia Divisional police command over his involvement in an accident that claimed the life of a 3-year-old boy.

This fatal accident occurred hours before his movie premiere ‘A Country Called Ghana’ at Amakom in Kumasi on May 25  at the KNUST auditorium.

The actor was picked up by the police when he was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital on Monday morning. He is likely to be processed to court.

Richard Nana Yaw Ampomah was reported to have lost his life while receiving treatment at the  Komfo Anokye Teaching  Hospital in Kumasi on Saturday, May 25 hours after the accident at Amakom.

Nana Yaw occupied the front passenger seat of his father’s vehicle when the collision happened with LilWin’s branded Mercedes Benz. Witnesses say the actor drove at a top speed when the crash occurred.

Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has been arrested by the Manhyia Divisional Police Command over his involvement in an accident that claimed the life of a 3-year-old.

Kwodwo Nkansah Lil Win was said to be receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye hospital until his arrest on Monday morning. His manager and personal guard who were also involved in the accident have still been hospitalized and receiving treatment.

The three-year-old boy has been buried by the bereaved family while his father, Jacob Ampomah who sustained a fractured leg injury is still receivig treatment a the hospital.

Lil Win  released a statement last week and refuted allegations by the family of the deceased for  neglecting the accident victims and focusing on his movie premiere same day after the incident  occurred.

He made an argument that he was only responding to the other members of his crew who had sustained injuries.

Lil win later rendered an apology  to the bereaved family for his “insensitive and callous comment” and postponed his movie premiere in Sunyani to mourn with the family.
