Before the Ghanaian Blackstars’ final Group B encounter against Mozambique, award-winning comedy actor Kojo Nkansah Lilwin has sent a strong warning to the team’s players.
In a video posted to his Instagram page, Lilwin promised to lead Ghanaians in a curse and beat the players if they lost the scheduled match at 8 PM and didn’t advance to the next round of the game.
Lilwin vowed to God in the tearful yet irate video to ensure that the players receive harsh punishment for losing against a poor team like Mozambique.
We cannot continue to pay the players with tax payer money while they continue to perform appallingly, as noted by Lilwin.
Ghanaians’ responses to Lilwin’s warning to the players have been conflicting.
While some social media users have shown their support for him, others have said that this time around, he went a little too far.
@Iamrichbynature for instance commented – Ghanaians need to stop all these it’s not funny! If you can’t support them leave them alone! Football no be acting
