The Black Stars needed to avoid defeat and maintain their chances of making it to the knockout stages after losing the first game 2-1 against Cape Verde.
A video appeared before the Cape Verde match, allegedly showing Reverend Kore predicting the game’s score.
In addition, he projected that the Black Stars would lose their remaining matches against Mozambique and Egypt. He also mentioned that Kudus, who was not present for the Cape Verde match, would struggle against Egypt.
Furthermore, he predicted that the Black Stars would lose the remaining games against Egypt and Mozambique. Additionally, he stated that Kudus, who was not there during the Cape Verde encounter, will face difficulties when facing Egypt.
The Pharaohs equalized in the 69th minute through a goal from Omar Marmoush; however, Kudus scored again two minutes later, and Mostafa Mohammed equalized in the 74th. The West Ham player was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance, which defied the prophet’s dire predictions.
Following the match, a video of Pastor Kore’s prophecy concerning Kudus went viral online, to the dismay of many Ghanaians.
