Mr. Logic, a talent agent and entertainment commentator, has criticised the youth and participants in the three-day #OccupyJulorbiHouse protest.
In spite of the chaotic economy and extreme suffering experienced by Ghanaians, he argued that young people should appreciate the peace they had in their country rather than acting foolishly.
Recall that on Thursday, September 21 through Saturday, September 23, thousands of Ghanaian youth participated in a three-day planned demonstration in Accra to voice their complaints.
The demonstration was called by the advocacy group Democracy Hub in order to draw attention to the alleged financial oversight of the government and the problems that have resulted for Ghanaians.
However, the nonviolent demonstration resulted in several annoyances, which many of the attendees got caught up in.
Mr. Logic warned the youth to value the country’s calm until the 2024 elections and advised them to avoid behaviours he considered dumb during a conversation on UTV Showbiz Night.
“I want to caution the youth of Ghana, value the peace you have until 2024, and stop being stupid. You haven’t seen violence before”
However, other studio members had a range of reactions to his comments.
