The running mate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has selected 25 salient points from the party’s 2024 manifesto as her personal favourites.
While acknowledging the difficulty in making her selections, she noted that these 25 highlights strongly agree in terms with her.
The NDC launched its 2024 manifesto, titled “Resetting Ghana Manifesto,” on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in Winneba, Central Region.
Reminiscing on the event in a social media template, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang said, “I have been contemplating the launch of the Resetting Ghana Manifesto in Winneba and trying to identify my favorite aspects. It is challenging to choose key highlights as every detail holds significance.”
Furthermore she stressed , “These are not just promises or slogans; they are carefully crafted policies designed to build the Ghana we aspire to achieve together.”

3. Improvements to the Free SHS program
4. 30% of political appointments dedicated to qualified women
5. 24-hour economy
6. National Apprenticeship Program
7. One Million Coders initiative
8. Rapid industrialization for job creation
9. Abolishment of the double track system
10. Ban on scholarships for political appointees
11. Construction of a children’s hospital and specialized fertility center
12. Development of modern hospitals in Bawku, Yendi, and other towns based on needs assessments
13. Establishment of a modern dialysis center in the Upper East Region
14. Youth Cocoa Farming Project
15. Realignment of the Exim Bank
16. Launch of Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL)
17. Removal of militia and vigilante elements from security agencies
