2024 Korea- African Summit: Akufo-Addo Advocate a strong partnership with the president of Korea.

The 2024 Korea-Africa Summit, that is  held in Seoul Korea began today.The president of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo (Ghana) with call for profound  collaboration and mutual growth.

The 2024 Korea-Africa Summit continues over the coming days, with various sessions aimed at strengthening ties and exploring new avenues for cooperation. Leaders and delegates from both regions are expected to engage in meaningful dialogues to advance their shared goals.


The president of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo addresses the present distinguished audience, including the Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol and other honorable Heads of State and Government. President Akufo-Addo pinpointed the vision of sustainability, and shared growth under the summit’s theme, “The Future We Make Together.”

In his remarks, President Akufo-Addo focused on the longstanding relationship between Korea and Ghana which was established fifty years ago in 1977. “Korea has been a reliable partner and dependable friend of Ghana,” he said outlining the economic, and cultural, and political exchanges whisch has benefited these two nations of Africa.

President Akufo-Addo make noted of three critical strong pillars for the future of Korea,  shared growth, solidarity, and sustainability. He identified the significance of economic collaboration, he said in shaping and thinking about the youthful population and  natural resources as a key capital. By promoting trade, innovation, investment and skills,  we can create a relationship of coaction that benefits both regions.

Again,  President Akufo-Addo acknowledged that there must be an increasment to remove barriers to promote, enhance infrastructure, and trade to knowledge the exchange to unlock the aptitude of this bond partnership.

In adding up to his speech, president Akufo-Addo also concentrated on the potentials of innovation and technology to guide sustainable development. He then called for collaboration in research and development, advancing digital literacy, and promoting entrepreneurship to equipage the benefits of the fourth industrial revolution.

Strengthened relations that relate to the economic powerhouses, will lead to increased investment, new markets for African products, and technology transfer. He stress on supporting one another to ice collective recoil. President Akufo-Addo referenced Korea’s recent trilateral meeting with Japan and China, noting its significance for Africa.

Summarizing his speech, President Akufo-Addo (The President of Ghana), expressed confidence in the future of Africa-Korea relations. “The future we make together should be one of shared growth, sustainability, and solidarity,” he declared. He urged both regions to collaborate  and build a brighter, and prosperous future as many days ahead.

The 2024 Korea-Africa Summit continues, with various sessions aiming at strengthening and exploring new avenues for cooperation. Leaders and delegates are expected to take part (from both regions) in meaningful dialogues to press on their shared goals.
