2023 AFCON: Inaki Williams’ Father Touches Down In Cote D’Iviore, Delivers A Heartwarming Message To The BackStars.

Ghana’s first AFCON match did not go as many fans had hoped, as the team lost badly to Cape Verde. Support for the players is growing among Ghanaians as the team’s upcoming match against Egypt approaches. In Cote d’Ivoire, Inaki Williams’ father has been observed supporting his son and the Black Stars.

Before the Black Stars’ next match against Egypt, the father of Ghanaian attacker Inaki Williams, who currently plays for Spain, was spotted in Cote d’Ivoire.

His son was substituted in the 62nd minute for Bristol City’s Antoine Semenyo in the squad’s previous AFCON match against Cape Verde, but the side lost. Many Ghanaians, including Mr. Felix Williams, are excited for the Black Stars to beat Egypt and turn around their AFCON fortunes.

Inaki Williams' dad pleads with Ghanaians

Mr. Felix Williams acknowledged that he is in Cote d’Ivoire to cheer for his son and the country during every match in a video that Happy FM posted online. He also expressed his hope that the Black Stars would advance.

The family of Inaki Williams claims that the striker’s teammates in the Black Stars refuse to pass to him out of concern that he would outshine them. In a recent interview from Cote d’Ivoire, Mr. Williams discussed that assertion and expressed concern about the severe criticism Ghanaians have been leveling at the Black Stars.

He remarked, “We insult our players too much,” and he urged the players and fans to have a positive outlook for their next AFCON matches.
